Pumpkin's Story

Meet Pumpkin 🎃

Pumpkin is a sweet, gentle little kitten who has come such a long way since arriving in foster care. She and her sisters, Honey (now adopted) and Grizzly, were initially very shy, nervous, and a little hissy — the world felt big and scary at first. Thanks to the patience, consistency, and tender loving care of her foster family, Pumpkin has learned that humans are safe, kind, and wonderful companions.

Today, Pumpkin happily seeks out her fosters for affection, comes over for pets, and can be picked up and cuddled. She has a soft, affectionate nature that really shines once she feels comfortable.

Pumpkin shares a very special bond with her sister Grizzly — the two are inseparable and clearly find comfort and confidence in one another. If possible, they would love to go to their forever home together, and we are truly hoping to make that wish come true. They’re almost identical twins, with Grizzly having slightly more grey in her coat and Pumpkin a warmer orange tone.

Ideal Home

A quiet household

No dogs and no young children

A patient adopter who understands shy kittens

Another friendly cat in the home (required)
(Bonus points if that cat is Grizzly 💛)

Medical & Adoption Details

Estimated birthday: August 4, 2025 (approximately 4.5 months old)

Spayed on December 16, 2025

Fully vaccinated (2 × FVRCP + 1-year rabies)

Microchipped

Dewormed

Pumpkin is a wonderful mix of gentle, affectionate, and playful.

Entièrement vaccinée (2 × FVRCP + rage 1 an)

At TNR La Pêche, we have a thorough adoption process to ensure that each cat finds a loving and responsible home that meets their needs. Adoption Process: 1. Application Submission – Potential adopters must complete an adoption application, providing details about their home, lifestyle, and experience with pets. 2. Application Review – Our team carefully reviews each application to ensure a good match between the adopter and the cat. 3. Interview & Discussion – We may contact applicants for a follow-up discussion to clarify details and ensure they understand our adoption policies. 4. Home Environment Consideration – We require that all adopted cats live indoors only to ensure their safety and well-being. 5. Meet & Greet – If the application is approved, adopters have the opportunity to meet the cat and ask any questions before finalizing the adoption. 6. Adoption Agreement & Fee – Approved adopters sign an adoption contract agreeing to provide proper care, and they pay an adoption fee that helps cover veterinary expenses. 7. Transition Support – We provide guidance on introducing the cat to their new home and remain available for post-adoption support. Our goal is to ensure the best possible match for both the cat and the adopter, leading to a successful and lifelong adoption.
