Puma's Story

This sweet snuggle is a Mommas boy he still has a tight bond with his MOM. Sissy. When it's snuggle time, each one claims a side of you so they can both be tucked in, touching you *and* each other. They are the definition of double love.

Puma and his Mom Sissy had a tough start in life, battling congestion when they were tiny. But this Mother and Son duo pulled through beautifully, and now their purrs roar like lions-even though they're technically he is a PUMA (we'll let them have their fun!).

These boys absolutely **adore their mom, Sissy.** She's a young mom, barely a year old herself, rescued from the streets and now fully embracing life as a sofa kitty. She still plays with her boys every day and loves them fiercely, which is probably why they turned out so sweet.

Puma and Panther are gentle, affectionate, playful, and deeply connected. They bring double the joy, double the cuddles, and double the purrs. Anyone would be lucky to adopt this charming duo.

---
Available for adoption after 12/03/25, but if you live in or around Huntsville, AL, ask about our foster-to-adopt program in the "additional comments" section on the application! PLEASE NOTE: We prefer not to adopt a single kitten into a home with no other cats unless it states in their listing that they are not good with cats and need to be an only cat. We prefer our little kittens are adopted in pairs or at least have another cat in the home to bond with. All of our rescues are FeLV/FIV tested, given age appropriate vaccines, spayed/neutered, and microchipped! Our adoption fee is $125 no matter age or breed. Visit Alabama's only nonprofit cat lounge, Cattyshack, Inc. Friday-Saturday! Reservations required! cattyshackhsv.org @cattyshackhsv #rescueloungeadopt

Cattyshack, Inc.'s Adoption Policy
First and foremost, Cattyshack adoptions involve filling out a non-binding application. We really want to process every detail on the app and feel good that we are sending the kitty home with the best possible fit. We also don’t enjoy having a cat returned three days later because you’ve decided scooping a litter box isn’t your thing, or your SO broke up with you and doesn’t want the kitten you gave her as “a gift”. We will do a vet reference to make sure any current animals you own are up to date on vaccines and spayed/neutered, so go ahead and get that done before you even bother with an application. We all want to feel like you are REALLY, TRULY, 100% ABSOLUTELY going to commit 15-20 years to this kitten, or 10+ years to the adult cat your are adopting. That’s a big deal. So thank you in advance for your patience with our adoption process.
