Puffy

Puffy is a part of our Hardworking Cats program. This program is generally for cats that would not be suited for traditional adoption, but that would thrive as barn cats, warehouse mousers, or indoor/outdoor companions. Hardworking cats often enjoy a level freedom and independence that other cats may not require but can bring the benefit of chemical free pest control and successfully deter other unwanted animal guests from your property.<br/><br/>Puffy was previously an outdoor cat whose caretaker unfortunately passed. He was unable to be safely returned to his prior home location and is now looking for a new place to call home! Puffy is generally a calm cat, he's low key but like to explore his surroundings and seems to be a good hunter! He is not fond of shelter life and seems to be stressed by his confinement and the environment so he hasn't been his best self with us. But he was described as friendly and easy going, enjoying attention when he's feeling social. His missing eye make him even more endearing!<br/><br/>Because of this, we believe he would likely do best as an indoor/outdoor cat or a barn cat! It is important to remember that even if Puffy is an outdoor cat or a barn cat, he will still need caretaker (daily food and fresh water, shelter from the elements, vet care as needed) and does like attention when he's feeling social. Puffy may have potential as an indoor companion, especially in his older years, but has never lived in a home before.
