PUDDIN's Story

Meet Puddin!
Puddin is a sweet, timid boy who is slowly gaining confidence and curiosity in his foster home. Once he warms up, he loves attention and affection, often demanding pets with gentle head-butts. He has a low energy level and enjoys quietly exploring his space at his own pace.

Puddin is very intuitive about handling—he gives clear signs when he wants to be left alone and will back away if he’s not in the mood for pets. When he initiates contact, he absolutely loves affection and snuggles.

He treats everyone the same, whether familiar people or strangers, and is just starting to interact with other cats through a screen door, showing interest without aggression or hissing.

Puddin would do best in a calm home where he can continue building confidence with patient, understanding humans. With time and gentle care, he will blossom into a loving and devoted companion. **Please apply on our website at indy.gov/activity/adopt-a-pet. Go to the website, click on the adoption application link, enter the information and hit submit. Once you have submitted your application please visit the shelter to speak with a member of our adoption staff. You can include multiple animals you are interested in on one application. This animal is staying in a foster home and is not at the shelter. Please put in an inquiry and an adoption counselor will contact you with the next steps. Thank you for your interest in adopting one of our FABULOUS PETS! We hope to see you soon, The IACS Adoptions Team.

Adoptions are free and include support from our adoption team to ensure a smooth transition from the shelter to your home.
