Proper (& Prim)'s Story
Hello, I'm Proper! I'm a slightly shy yet super sweet boy who is looking for a home with my best friend, Prim. She's kind of his protector, and emotional support. You see, I'm a little wobbly on my feet, so I need to be more cautious in unfamiliar territory. She's always up front in new situations, making sure that I feel secure. We're also snuggled up together more often than not! While I need a moment to warm up to new people, I truly do love to make friends and will purr loudly and flop to my back to curl myself around your hands.

_____________________________________

This animal has an unsteady, wobbly hind limb gait. It is unknown at this time if this is due to a prior injury or congenital issue that is now stable or if this could be a progressive condition. The shelter took x-rays at the time of his neuter, and no obvious abnormalities were noted. The cause of the unsteady gait is likely neurological. Ongoing monitoring will be needed with adopter's veterinarian including possible further diagnostics and treatment.
