Priscilla's Story

Priscilla

Be ready to have your hearts (and pillows) stolen by this affectionate girl!

Priscilla is a 2-year-old female with the most stunning green eyes and beautiful tabby markings mixed in with her white patches. She has plush fur, long white whiskers, and four mismatched paws! While young, she’s an “old soul” – she’s quiet and makes no demands.

Priscilla (aka Ms P, Sweet Pea, or Princess Priscilla) was rescued from a trailer park where pretty girl kitties get unwanted attention from toms. She showed a willingness to be a great addition to a family. This little girl is sometimes a little shy but craves human attention. As she’s stayed in her foster home her personality has started to shine through. She loves cuddling in a lap or next to her person, getting all the pets. She loves kitty churro treats and she has shown interest in playing with toys.

Priscilla is in a foster home with other cats. She doesn’t care for the advances of a cat who wants to play with her, but she is okay to co-exist with cats that don’t get in her face. She prefers people over active pets. So, we think she would be an amazing addition to a home with a quieter family, older kids, and she would be fine alone or with other cats - especially cats that are chill, older, or also “old souls.”

Priscilla is ready to be a soft, plush, emotional support cat if you’re willing to be her emotional support/couch person! If you've never owned a pet, part of our adoption process requires that you call several vet offices to compare services, prices, and availability. Questions to ask include: How many doctors are at your practice? Can I request to see a specific Vet or would I be scheduled with first available? What are your hours? How much is: annual exam, heartworm test & tablets, an x-ray, vaccines, a non-emergency office call? Do you recommend vaccines every year or every three years? (every 3 yrs as suggested by the AVMA) The pooch that visits your home will go back home with us to allow your family to discuss and ensure he/she is a good fit for your home.
