Princessa-In Foster's Story
Princess has been in foster care tending to her kittens, but the kids have moved on and it's time for her to have some "me" time! This little lady has great house manners and is easy as pie to take care of. She is quiet, laid back, affectionate, loves a good cuddle and will purr with delight when you pet her. Princess lived with another cat in her previous life, so she might do well with a feline friend. She would be perfect for any family, including those with kind children who know how to treat this little treasure. When visitors come to call, she prefers to meet with them on her own turf. It's not a power play. She's just more comfortable when she has the home advantage. Princess can be spooked by loud noises and may also need some time to settle in. She was afraid when she first went into foster care and tried hiding anywhere she could fit, including the washing machine. Thankfully it was off, and she came away suds free. If she disappears when you get her home, you can always call the Maytag man. But really, Princess is a joy to have and once she settles in will be your next best friend.

Change is hard for this cat. This cat will be very nervous when you first bring them home. You will need to set up a room with a litter box, food, and water. It will take days for this cat to become comfortable and confident in the new home. This cat will be going home with a behavior plan that will need to be followed in order for everyone to transition successfully.

Ready to Adopt?

You have two options:

#1- VISIT IN PERSON
Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm.
