Princess **Special Needs: Urinary Issues**'s Story

Princess: purry, chill, people kitty

Princess's story: I was adopted with my brother 14 years ago. We were cool with a baby that turned into a kid, and a mom that gave us plenty of attention. I was never bonded with my bro, Bounce, but we are fine. Then 4 years later came Roxy, a kitten. She was fine, a bit too hyper for my taste, but 10 years later she was still around. Then recently my person was evicted. My brother disappeared to another place, and Roxy and I got put in a basement of an allergic friend Not a good fit in my opinion. After a week, they agreed, and my person took us back and brought us to Fitchburg Friends of Felines, where we got reunited with my bro, Bounce.

My foster mom is cool. She gives me attention whenever needed, and lets me sleep near her head at night, which I love pillows... So it is all good!

I am more of an independent girl. My foster mom has cats. That fine, I guess. I don't bond with any of them, but they don't bother me. If they get too close, I hiss, but that is is as far as expending any energy on them.

I have been around dogs as well, which I didn't have an issue with, either. My foster mom calls me a California Cat . Just hanging loose and chill.

I had a procedure on 9/24/25 to remove over 20 urinary crystals. Admittedly, I was very uncomfortable, so I am am.feelinf much better now. Since I have urinary issues, I have to be on urinary food now. It is boring food, but I will deal. I also am a bit stiff, so I get Dasoquin treats daily and a shot for my arthritis monthly. I may end up being a permanent foster, which means you won't pay for medical care, because of these expenses. Win-win, right?

I'll love to sleep near you, like, near your head; it is good to be eye to eye on things. Happy to take any chair with cushions that I can get comfy on or low stools with a cushion that I can sit on.

At night, I'll prefer to sleep by your head though, in case I did not mention it. On an other pillow near you is just fine. I don't tend to bother other cats and I don't mind my brother, Bounce. I will hiss at a strange kitty, but I'm not aggressive. I grew up with Roxy, but we are not bonded, so we don't have to be adopted together, either. I don't have an issue with her, either way.

I'm not a huge fan of being picked up, probably because of my arthritis, but I love to climb onto and be around you! I'm very easy going and slow moving, but slow and steady is a good pace!

I am a very happy, loving girl, and a very good purr baby.

My ideal home would be In a space with or without other kitties. I mean, my brother, Bounce can come along for the ride, but I don't need him, necessarily . My roommate, Roxy can come, but again, not bonded. I definitely need humans, so if other 4 legged are around, I am not adverse to that, as long as my humans are available to me when I need attention, and at night for sleeping.

Fitchburg Friends of Felines facilitates a foster to adopt program that places the intended adoptee with the potential adoptive family. This ensures that your feline companion is the perfect fit as well as provides support as you both transition into your new life together.

You can fill out an adoption application here:

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe1685w60NjfU2eeE55Cd57TAaEZU7bERjyY825EMto48sTQw/viewform

Please reach out to Fitchburg Friends of Felines directly at 978-222-3170 or fitchburgfriendsoffelines@gmail.com with questions. Fitchburg Friends of Felines, Inc.'s Adoption Policy
Potential adopters are required to have a solid character reference, vet reference, and a site visit which can be conducted virtually. Due to MA regulations, we cannot intake pets from out of state. We offer a foster to adopt program to guarantee the intended kitty is a good fit for your family. We also require that all adopters agree to return the kitty should the adopter no longer be able to care for him or her in the future, or an agreed to person is identified to continue care for this kitty. We are not a brick and mortar; all available cats are kept in foster homes. Therefore, we would need time to schedule a visit to meet a kitty. We are happy to travel to match the perfect kitty for your family. Our adoption fees are normally $250 per cat, $350 for specialty breeds or exotics, and $50 less per kitty if interested in multiples. For specific questions, or for an adoption application, please feel free to reach out to us directly: fitchburgfriendsoffelines@gmail.com or call our hotline: 978-222-3170
