Prince Harry's Story

PRINCE HARRY: Rules by cuddles, runs court jester duty at night. Zero boundaries, all the love.

Prince Harry is adorably sweet, wildly playful, and already winning hearts. He rules by one decree: Pets work, playtime duties, play, more play, cuddles crowns. He trusts everyone, loves everyone, and expects the royal treatment from all his subjects. Still, no crown required — just a family who loves him for him.

A Royal Note About Prince Harry:

Harry isn't “bad.” He's what happens when one kitten has to entertain himself. In the right home, all that chaos becomes comedy. All that energy becomes love.

Prince Harry had single kitten syndrome. He spent too much of kittenhood alone and missed key lessons in cat manners. He's the prime example of what happens when a kitten grows up without playmates to teach him boundaries. Now he's a tween with zero boundaries and a Court Jester of Chaos. At 4am he will curl on your face, purr like a chainsaw, and nip your cheek if you stop petting him. You WILL need more coffee in the morning. He'll cry if you lock him out. You will not sleep in. But he will absolutely adore you!

He plays too rough with small kittens though sometimes sulks when confident cats put him in his place. He's fine with dogs for now, but we know he'll do something dumb eventually because he's convinced his loyal subjects will just let him do as he wants.

Most of all, he's worth every minute of it.

The Royal Household In Which Harry Would Thrive:
Harry does best in a cat-savvy adult home with a sense of humor, firm boundaries, and time for daily royal play sessions. Teens+ in the home is ideal — he nips and body-slams when overstimulated, and young children won't appreciate his brand of affection. A confident, sturdy resident cat would make an excellent royal advisor for him. He can also reign as your one-and-only IF you are home often and committed to serious play to burn off that single-kitten energy. Cat-savvy dogs welcome by royal appointment.

Prince Harry's Royal Record:
• Vetting: Neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, FIV/FeLV negative
• Temperament: Sweet + playful + mischief. Biggest cuddler when he abdicates the throne for naps
• With cats: Too rough for kittens. Needs confident royal advisor cat (or a dedicated human subject but that's going to require a truly loyal subject)
• With dogs: Currently tolerates the royal hounds. Will test the treaty. Dogs therefore must be cat-savvy
• With humans: Teens+ ideal. He loves hard but plays harder
• Royal Quirks: 4am face-sitting by decree. Demands pets. Pouts when reprimanded. Believes he's royalty — because he is

If you've read this far and you're smiling, you might be his royal household. If you're still unsure, that's okay too — Harry needs his person, not just a castle.

Adoption Process: See our bio for link to our process and application. We prioritize their lifelong safety. After vet reference checks, we do a live virtual safety walkthrough — it's a video call where we walk through kitten-proofing together. You'll see the kittens in their comfy foster home, ask the foster anything, and get tips for your own space. We do it together, no stress.

You can see more pictures and videos of our fosters on our facebook page: Sophia L'Orange Kitten Rescue

Sophia L'Orange Kitten Rescue's Adoption Policy
The Foster Home Advantage: Because we are a 100% foster-based rescue, the kittens haven’t spent their youth stressed out in a shelter cage. We do not foster in cages. They are "home-tested!" So we already know their personalities, whether they love human company, respects a home routine, and spend a lot of time to make sure we are describing each carefully so that you know the type of kitty for which you are applying. Adoption Details: We work towards making the purrfect match for each kitty and each home. Because we prioritize their lifelong safety, our adoption process requires a live virtual safety walkthrough after our verifications and vet references. If you are an open-book adopter ready to welcome these precious kittens into your heart, apply to adopt today!
