Primrose's Story

Primrose, spayed female ticked tabby born 9/24/2025. Primrose has a letter to her future forever family. "Hello family, where are you? Although my foster mom has loved being privy to all my young kitten antics, you, dear family, are missing out. I love running laps across the living room and then bolting up Mt. Kilimangaro recliner. Only to then collapse in the chair for a few second breather before getting back at my routine again. This all makes foster mom thoroughly amused. I may be a slightly older kitten but I still enjoy all the kitten pastimes, teaser toys, toy mice, balls, shredding toilet paper, and I'm not immune to catnip. Foster mom says I have the uncanny ability to turn anything found on the floor into a toy. I am sweet, gentle and calm, just give me a few minutes to warm up. I like to keep foster mom guessing so sometimes I chill in the cat tree and sometimes I surprise her by sitting on her lap. I don't want to be too predictable just yet. I excel at independent play and am wildly entertaining to watch. I am not shy about other cats and I love taunting foster Mom's dog. I play with the dog quite often. She's big but doesn't scare me. So there it is, I'm perfect, come adopt me.

To adopt you must first complete an adoption application and meet the cat in its foster home. We do not do same day adoptions so, generally, we can only adopt within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
