Meet Primrose #1298

Primrose (1298) is a sweet one year old girl, currently living in her foster home and ready for adoption. Prim can be a little timid at first; she prefers to approach you, instead of being approached. After a couple of weeks in her foster home, she turned into a huge cuddle bug, sleeping with her foster every night and constantly looking for pets. She purrs loudly to show you how happy she is being pet and cuddled! Her favorite activities are chasing after toy mice and balls, and staring at herself in the mirror.

PLEASE NOTE: Prim underwent a back leg amputation a month ago. After a month of recovery, she is fully mobile. Prim isn’t looking for any special treatment because of her disability! Just note that learning to jump up on new things with varying heights may take her some time, but once she gets the hang of it, she’ll never stop jumping up and down. Her hair is beginning to grow back which may take up to a couple of months.

Prim would be a good fit for a home that lets her relax and chill alone throughout the day, but loves to come around for attention and love in the evenings. The few experiences Prim has had with other cats, she does well.

Please contact Prim’s foster, Hailey, at hasartore@gmail.com for any questions or inquiries. While she is living in a foster home right now, if it is determined that you are a good fit, the adoption will take place at PetSmart in Potomac Yard (3351 Richmond Highway #10, Alexandria, VA 22305). The adoption fee is $175.
This fee covers her having been spayed, vaccinated (age appropriate), tested for feline leukemia and feline aids, treated for worms, fleas, ticks, and ear mites. Also, in addition to receiving the first month of ShelterCare pet insurance, the adopter will also receive a PETSMART Charities Cat Care Guide which includes $35 in coupons and a free office visit at Last Chance's Paw Prints Animal Hospital.
