Pretty Paula's Story

Pretty Paula is a 2-3 year old stunning Russian Blue mix with a soft, silvery coat and the sweetest eyes you've ever seen. She's a survivor, rescued from a devastating house fire—and through it all she held onto her gentle spirit, ready to trade the past for the love and security of a forever home. We thought she was expecting kittens, but it turns out she was simply working the system. No kittens—just a very clever girl who knows exactly how to get spoiled rotten.

Her foster calls her a "sweet little biscuit maker." Paula rarely meows—she chirps and squeaks instead, especially when she wants attention. Sit down beside her and she'll plop onto the nearest bed or pillow and get to work making biscuits. She's calm and content on her own most of the day until she decides it's petting time, then she'll paw at your shoulder or hop right onto you. If Paula needs something, you'll know.

She loves a burrow, hut, or cat tree to claim as her own, and she'll let out a small hiss if you get too close—that's the extent of her tough side. She'll even take the occasional belly rub. Mostly she loves to sleep, eat, and perch somewhere cozy to watch the world outside. No risk of door dashing, either—Paula is cautious by nature, and though she hasn't met her foster's dog or cat, she shows no interest in seeking them out. A quiet home, perhaps as your one and only, would suit her beautifully.

Pretty Paula deserves a family that reminds her every day that she's safe, loved, and home for good. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a chirp for a hello and a story of incredible resilience, she's ready to start her next chapter with you.

APPLY TO ADOPT: finalvictoryrescue.com *We are located in South Carolina and transport to the northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up pet. We provide local or virtual meet-and-greets with an application on file.*
