Potato's Story

From his foster mom, Darlene:
From his foster mom, Darlene:
Potato is my favorite. There, I said it.

Like his siblings, Potato had a rough start. His mama showed up pregnant on a kind woman's doorstep, and after she disappeared, Meowtown stepped in to help. When I brought the kittens into foster care, they were tiny, flea-infested babies weighing barely a pound each. Now they're healthy, happy, playful little kittens who have been spoiled with love every day.

Potato is a handsome brown tabby who is, appropriately, a little potato-shaped. While he loves wrestling and playing with his siblings, what he really wants is to be close to his people. The second I open the door, he's always the first one running over to greet me.

His favorite place in the world is tucked up near my neck, where he'll happily fall asleep while being held. He has the loudest purr of the entire litter and turns it on often. In fact, getting a good picture of him is a challenge because he's constantly trying to get closer instead of posing for the camera.

Potato is affectionate, cuddly, and completely devoted to being wherever you are. If you're looking for a kitten who wants to be your constant companion, this little guy is ready for the job.

Born 3/20/2026

At Meowtown, we dont have a traditional, physical shelter - all of our cats live in loving foster homes. That means they are already used to real home life, and we truly know their personalities, habits, and what makes them special. They are safe, socialized, and ready to be part of a family. Theyre not waiting to become housecats... they already are. They just need a house.

This kitten has not been neutered yet, but is available as Foster2Adopt. You adopt and take the kitten home with you, and we pay for and arrange for neuter later.

If you are interested in meeting me, please contact my rescue family at MeowtownAR@gmail.com to arrange a visit with my foster home!
