Posey arrived at SoHumane in a painful state. A large infected abscess caused constant discomfort, and even more devastating, staff discovered she had an old spinal fracture and neurological damage that left her unable to carry her own weight with her back legs.<br/><br/>Although her hind legs are paralyzed, thanks to veterinary care and regular physical therapy sessions Posey is now able to move with more independence and joy. Watching her excitedly chasing toys it's almost impossible to believe how much she has overcome. Because of her limited mobility, Posey will need a devoted care giver.
