Introducing Porter. This fuzzy guy is a sweet boy who loves attention. His fur is very smooth and silky, and he's quite chatty when he wants love and food. He has a fairly quiet personality so is looking for a home that matches his energy. <br/><br/>Porter observes first and thinks about things before making decisions. He can be a little bit shy when he meets new people but he warms up quickly and once he knows you he loves to give head butts. If you hover your hand right above his head, he jumps up and rub his head against your hand; it's the cutest thing! <br/><br/>He loves sleeping in sun-spots and lounging on the couch. He also likes playing with stringy toys when the mood strikes him. However, when he's done playing, Porter is ready to soak up all the love! Since Porter enjoys spending a lot of time with his people, he will be happiest with a home-body who is around a lot. Perhaps someone who works from home.<br/><br/>Porter has gotten along with other cats in the past but we found that he was quite sensitive about the way they treated him. He will likely be fine in a home with another quiet cat that gives him space, but he will be overwhelmed by a cat that wants to play or rough house. In his previous home, Porter was bullied by another, more dominant cat. <br/><br/>Porter has lived in a house with a dog before so he may be Ok to do so again. A quiet, older, laid-back dog will be more his style. He wont be happy in a home with a high-energy, pushy, or yappy dog. Since he has a soft personality and can be a little bit shy, Porter wont do well with a very busy household or with young children. He will be fine with teens. <br/><br/>This guy is not even 2 years old so have a lot of time and love to give to his new family. He is a wonderful cat who will be a great addition to his new home.
