Porkchop's Story

Porkchop is a sweet, handsome guy with a big heart... and a few quirky disclaimers. Think of him as the feline equivalent of a grumpy old mechanic whos actually a softie once you get to know him.

Lets address the tiny elephant in the room: Porkchop has a bite history. Before you scroll away, hear him out! He cant lift his tail all the way, so we suspect he has trouble communicating with normal cat body language. When he gets overstimulated or isnt sure how to say, Hey, Ive had enough, his communication skills can be... well... a little toothy.

Hes also a rough-and-tumble player with other cats. Hed do best with a confident feline friend who wont take his wrestling matches personallyor as the resident cat in a garage, workshop, warehouse, or similar environment where he can be himself while still enjoying human companionship.

Once the zoomies are over, Porkchop transforms into a world-class couch potato. His favorite hobbies include lounging in bed, eating meals without getting up if he can help it, and generally perfecting the art of being delightfully lazy.

Underneath all those quirks is a genuinely affectionate cat who wants lovehe just doesnt always know the best way to ask for it. With someone who understands cat body language, respects his boundaries, and appreciates a cat with loads of personality, Porkchop will make a loyal companion.

If youre the kind of person who roots for the misunderstood underdog, Porkchop is waiting to meet you.

All of our cats are intended to be indoor-only unless otherwise noted. Every cat is spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations prior to adoption. For their health and well-being, declawing is not permitted.

Interested in adopting? Please complete our adoption application here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/JEEP/Cat
