Pork Chop's Story

Meet Pork Chop, the ultimate golden granny cat! At 17 years young, this super senior is the perfect mix of soulful, sweet, and just a little bit sassy. She's the kind of cat who leaves a lasting impression on everyone she meets - and once you know her, it's impossible not to fall in love.

Pork Chop is currently thriving in foster care, where she spends her days perfecting the art of sunbathing, curling up for cozy lap naps, and burrowing into mountains of blankets beside her favorite people. But don't let her age fool you - this girl still has plenty of zany, playful spirit! She loves wand toys, occasionally zooms across the room with bursts of kitten-like energy, and absolutely loses her mind for a sprinkle of catnip - or what her foster mom playfully likes to call the "devil's lettuce."

Like any wise old lady, Pork Chop also appreciates her independence and isn't afraid to let you know when she's ready for a little solo time. Her signature move? A hilariously gentle "gnaw" with her toothless little mouth that's more adorable than intimidating. Her foster mom says it's "equal parts hilarious and cute!"

Pork Chop is truly a one-of-a-kind companion with an old soul and an incredibly calming presence. Her biggest fans at PAWS share that it is an honor to care for her. Whoever opens their heart and home to this special girl will quickly understand why she's so special, so lovable, and deeply deserving of a family to call her own.

------------------------------------

This cat is currently located in a PAWS foster home. Please email their foster parent at worthingtonvalerie500@gmail.com to learn more about them!

In order to meet any cats in foster care, you will need to have an approved application first. To get the adoption process started, please submit an adoption application online at phillypaws.org/catapp.

If you have any questions for our adoption team, feel free to email adoptions@phillypaws.org or call 215-238-9901 ext. 30.
