MEET POPSY! If you are looking for someone who will most certainly be obsessed with you, then you are in luck because my name is Popsy and I am hoping to *pop* into your life! I am a stage-5 clinger in the most wonderful way. I just enjoy having company and I require someone who upholds those same values. I have such a loving and affectionate personality – I really can’t get enough love! I will *pop* off my front legs for headbutts and attention and very quietly meow at you if I feel you’ve forgotten to pet me. After all I’ve been through, it’s the least I can ask for! I arrived at the shelter with a large wound on my face. The shelter staff isn’t sure what happened to me, but it was clear I needed help. Throughout my journey of healing, I showed the shelter staff every day how grateful I was to get the care I needed. Now, I am good as new and ready to find my forever family! In my time with YCAS, I haven’t met a single person I didn’t love! I have made so many friends and even shown to not mind the other kitties here as long as I am introduced properly. I love being held, but my favorite thing is sitting next to you and getting scratches. I will often climb into your lap for maximum closeness! I'm just a lover and I want nothing more than to be near someone who will give me attention. I am up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, current on prevention, FIV/FeLV negative, and ready to snuggle my way into your heart! All Adoptions require a Pre-Adoption Interview with a YCAS Adoption Counselor, a meet and greet, and adoption approval. Every adoptable cat is Spayed or Neutered, implanted with a microchip, current on age appropriate vaccinations including a current 1 year Rabies Vaccination, and current on monthly Flea/tick prevention. All pets are behaviorally and medically evaluated prior to being placed up for adoption. The adoption fee is $77.
