Hi. My name is Poppyseed.<br/><br/>I'm a fluffy long-haired gentleman born outside in the spring/summer of 2025 in a rural cat colony where a lot of unwanted cats get dumped. Life wasn't always easy for me. I spent my first winter outdoors, but kind people made sure I had food and shelter during the really cold days. Now I'm ready for the next chapter of my life: a forever home of my own.<br/><br/>At first, I might act a little shy while I figure you out, but honestly - It usually doesn't take me very long to decide you're my person. Once I trust you, I become a total lovebug. I LOVE rubbing against your legs, flopping dramatically onto my side the second you pet me, and being picked up like a baby. Sometimes when I get extra happy and playful, I'll give tiny little love nips just to keep things interesting.<br/><br/>I get along perfectly with other cats and would do great with new feline friends. People say I have the best personality once I open up - sweet, affectionate, funny, and full of love. I'm neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV/FIV, so I'm all ready to move in.<br/><br/>What I really want now is someone who will love me forever. I've spent enough time surviving.
