Poppy's Story

Poppy Available for Adoption

If you've ever wished you could carry a cat around in your pocket, Poppy may be the next best thing!

At just about a year old, Poppy is a tiny little tabby who seems to have missed the memo about growing up. Her adorable size has earned her nicknames like "Poppy Seed" and "Poppy Pocket" from volunteers who can't get over how petite she is. Photos simply don't do justice to just how adorable she really is.

Poppy is also not shy about letting you know when she'd like some attention. This chatty girl has plenty to say and will happily call out until you come spend time with her. Whether you're giving her pets or simply sitting nearby, Poppy loves having her people close and enjoys being part of whatever you're doing.

With her soft brown and gray tabby stripes, bright white chest, and little white paws, she's as pretty as she is sweet. Still learning that indoor life is a pretty wonderful thing, Poppy approaches the world with curiosity, opinions, and a personality far bigger than her petite size would suggest.

Poppy has seen another female cat through a gate in her foster home and hasn't shown much interest one way or the other. However, she has been less enthusiastic about the male cats she's encountered, responding with some hisses and growls. Because of this, we think Poppy might be happiest as your one and only feline, where she can soak up all the attention for herself.

If you're looking for a tiny companion with a big personality, Poppy is ready to fill your home with conversation, companionship, and plenty of love.

Poppy is just a year old, spayed, negative for FeLV and FIV, and up-to-date on all her shots. If you are interested in meeting her, contact Boston's Forgotten Felines on Facebook or at catadoptions@bostonsforgottenfelines.org

Our Mission
Boston streets are flooded with homeless cats and kittens. Some were abandoned, while others are feral (offspring of those abandoned cats.) We are the Feral Cat Warriors who fight to help them survive every single day. Our aim is to ensure that feral cats have a stable and safe shelters, food and medical attention as needed...
