Meet Poppy

Some cats are looking for a wild and crazy life. Poppy? She is looking for a quiet, cozy place to call home with a nice lap, a little peace and quiet, and someone who appreciates a professional biscuit maker.

Poppy is around 6 years old and has a very special connection to K9 Kindness. We actually adopted her out as a kitten back when we had cat fosters! Sadly, her person’s health began to fail and Poppy found herself back with us as we take all our pets back.

This mellow girl absolutely LOVES sitting on a lap. And when she is happy, out comes the biscuit factory! Poppy will happily knead away on you while soaking up all the love. She has lived with both cats and dogs. So far, she prefers to observe from afar. She may do best with calm housemates who will respect her space.

Poppy is litter trained and would love a calmer home where she can settle in, relax, and be someone’s beloved lap kitty. She is a foodie and treats help win over her kitty heart.

Poppy is spayed, current on vaccines and prevention and is microchipped. Her adoption fee is $50. To meet her, please submit an application at www.k9kindnessrescue.org/adopt. As a reminder, we are not a shelter location and require a scheduled meet and greet.
