Popeye's Story

Popeye is a cute 5-month old gray and white tabby with a congenital eye condition called "sunken eye". His right eye is fully functional but it sits back farther than his left eye, resulting in poor depth perception. For the first few months of his life, he was very scared because he couldn't see well, so he simply hid from the world. Once we had him in foster for a couple of weeks he realized how great his life indoors could be, and he really came out of his shell. He loves to play and be petted, and he starts purring and making biscuits as soon as he sees a person walk into the room. He's an adorable playful kitten who needs a loving and patient family to work with him as he learns to live with his vision issue. He's so happy to be an indoor kitty and he'll make a great companion for anyone wanting to share their love with a kitten discovering life!
