Popeye's Story

Meet Popeye, a playful, affectionate gray-and-white tabby kitten with a big personality and an even bigger heart!

Popeye was originally brought in from a cat colony for treatment of a congenital eye condition called “sunken eye.
” While his right eye sits farther back than normal and gives him limited
depth perception, it is fully functional, and Popeye has adapted beautifully. Nothing slows this little guy down from living his best kitten life!

Once he discovered the joys of indoor living, he completely came out of his shell. The moment you walk into the room, Popeye comes running with his tiny squeaky meow, ready to greet you with nonstop purrs, headbutts, biscuits, and cuddles. He is incredibly sweet and eager to share his happiness with everyone around him.

Like any kitten, Popeye is also full of energy and loves to chase toys, pounce on anything dangling nearby, and play until he tires himself out, usually stopping periodically to come back for affection before diving back into the fun. Popeye has done wonderfully with the older children in his foster home (ages 8 and 10), especially because they love to play as much as he does.

While he can be a little cautious with new people or unfamiliar sounds at first, he gains confidence quickly with a little patience and kindness.

Popeye is a joyful, loving kitten who will make a wonderful companion for someone looking to give a special little cat a happy forever home.
