Popcorn's Story
Hi, my name is Popcorn,

Male - neutered
Domestic Short Hair
Approx. 2 years old

I entered the care of the Georgina Animal Shelter and Adoption Centre in February 2026 after being abandoned. It was a tough time for me, and I was very nervous and fearful. I earned my name, Popcorn, because I was always avoiding human interaction, much like a kernel trying not to pop.

Despite my initial nervousness,my shelter friends saw potential in me-a belief that I could be the PUR-fect companion for the right person. They placed me in a foster home, where I still reside, and it turns out, I absolutely love being a house kitty! Lounging around and snoozing are some of my favourite activities. I'm a bit nosy too and love to be the center of attention or at least pop my way into every conversation!

I have lived with other kitties before and enjoy the company of a friendly feline friend. Although I haven't had the opportunity to meet any dog friends yet, I believe that if the pup is kitty-savvy, laid-back, and easygoing, we'd get along just fine.

If you're looking for a curious and loving kitty companion, I might just be the kitty for you!

** I am currently residing in a foster home **
