Poots aka Penny's Story

Meet Poots (aka Penny)!
Every queen deserves a kingdom and Poots, who is nicknamed Penny, is ready to rule hers with confidence, curiosity and plenty of affection!

This beautiful 2 year old sweetheart came to ARF at the end of June when she was surrendered to us. Since arriving, she's received the care she needed, including treatment for a common upper respiratory infection. She has also been vaccinated and microchipped. And like every cat available for adoption at ARF, she is also spayed. So she's healthy and ready to head home with her new family today.

Penny is a larger lady, tipping the scales at just under 14 pounds, but that just means there's more of her to love! She enjoys being around people and has a naturally curious personality, always interested in what's happening around her. Whether she's supervising your daily activities, investigating a new toy, or simply hanging out nearby, Penny likes to be part of the action.

When it comes to other cats, however, Penny has made her feelings perfectly clear. She'd much rather be your one and only feline. She's happiest when she doesn't have to share her kingdom with another cat, so she'll thrive as the sole queen of her castle, soaking up all the attention for herself.

If you're looking for a friendly, confident companion with a big personality to match her generous size, Poots (Penny) may be the perfect fit. She's ready to trade shelter life for a forever home where she can reign over her loyal subjects and return their devotion with love, companionship and plenty of entertaining antics. Come meet Penny today. Her throne is waiting and it just might be your couch.
