Hi, I'm Po Boy, an 8-month-old charmer! I'm going to be straight with you: I'm a shy guy! I didn't get much human experience before coming to the shelter, so I like to hide. But here's the secret: I am the sweetest, gentlest soul! If you can just find me, I will immediately enjoy head scratches and pets! I just need time and a safe space to feel comfortable. Not everyone is ready to give a shy guy a chance, but I promise I'm worth the wait! I'd also be a gentle companion for your current lonely cat. Help me get out of the shelter and into your loving home! Apply for a visit! My adoption fee is $100. BOGO adoptions! Adopt one cat or kitten and the second is FREE! Marshfield Area Pet Shelter's Adoption Policy

Adoption Policy: Adopter must be 18 years of age or older to apply. Online applications are preferred. Adoption coordinator will contact applicants within 2-3 business days. This may vary depending on the number of animals in our care. Online app: www.marshfieldpetshelter.org/adoption-application Adoption Fees: Puppies < 5 months = $275.00 Adult dogs > 5 months = $225.00 Senior dogs > 7 years = $150.00 Kittens < 5 months = $125.00 Adult cats > 5 months = $100.00 Senior cats > 7 years = $50.00 Working Cats = $0 (donations are always welcome and appreciated) Adoption Fee includes: A general physical examination and behavioral evaluation Canine/feline distemper combination vaccination Bordetella (canines only). If old enough, a rabies vaccination. Deworming medication Flea/tick treatment (if needed) Canine heartworm test (if age appropriate). Feline leukemia (FeLV) test available upon request. Spay/neuter surgery Microchip w/registration Certificate for a free wellness examination with participating veterinarians
