Pixel's Story
FOSTERED IN: Long Grove, IL
ESTIMATED DOB: June 2021
COLOR/BREED: DSH Black
KIDS:Yes
DOGS: Some
CATS: Some

HISTORY:
Pixel was adopted out as a kitten and is now up for adoption due to conflict with a resident cat and dog
ABOUT:
Pixel is a striking 4½-year-old black tabby with a silky, thick coat and a personality that shines just as brightly. She’s a confident little tripod—missing one front leg due to a birth defect—but don’t let that fool you: Pixel doesn’t know she’s any different, and it doesn’t slow her down one bit. Playful and energetic, she loves toys with motion, catnip pillows, and a good game of chase around the house, especially in the mornings. She’s also quite vocal, happily announcing her playtime and excitement with cheerful commentary.
This sweet girl adores people and warms up quickly to new friends. The moment you sit down, Pixel is likely to hop right into your lap, purring contentedly while you give her favorite face, cheek, and ear scratches. While she prefers not to be picked up and isn’t a fan of having her paws touched, she more than makes up for it with her affection and lap-loving nature. Pixel is easygoing about food (though she eats with enthusiasm!) and has excellent litter box manners.
Pixel would thrive in a quiet home where sudden loud noises and fast movements are kept to a minimum. She would do best as the only cat, but could live with a confident, non-territorial feline companion. She has done well with calm, low-energy dogs but is fearful of high-energy ones. If you’re looking for a loving, vocal, and playful companion who will happily keep your lap warm and your home full of personality, Pixel might be the perfect fit for you. 🐾💖

Interested in adding one of our adoptables to your family?
