Pixel's Story

Meet Pixel, a truly special cat with both a rare coat and a gentle heart. Pixel is a male tortoiseshell, an extraordinary find, as only 1 in 3,000 torties are male! But his uniqueness doesn't stop at his beautiful coloring. Pixel also has a sweet, sensitive soul that just needs a little time to shine. Timid at first, Pixel prefers to take things slow and observe from a safe spot, but with a bit of patience (and some tasty treats), he'll start to show his affectionate side. Once he feels comfortable, he'll happily come out for gentle pets and playtime. Wand toys are his absolute favorite, and you'll quickly see his playful personality peek through when one is around. Pixel is looking for a calm, loving home where he can build trust at his own pace. If you're someone who believes that the best relationships take time, and you're ready to open your heart to a one of a kind cat, Pixel might just be the perfect addition to your life. Pixel also has a very best friend makes Mouse. They love to cuddle together and spend most of their day together. Pixel will be happy going home with Mouse but will be just as content to go home without Mouse. To meet Pixel please fill out an adoption application at abandonedpetrescue.org!

Pixel is vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and ready for adoption at Abandoned Pet Rescue - a no-kill shelter in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. To meet this adoptable pet, please fill out an adoption application at www.abandonedpetrescue.org and a team member will contact you to schedule an appointment.
