Pistachio's Story

Pistachio is a shy little sweetheart just waiting for the right family. At a year old, she is on the smaller side with cute little legs. She has a darker brown tabby coat with longer fur.

She likes being pet especially gentle face rubs but she can take a bit to warm up to people despite being quite the room explorer. While she is not much of a jumper she can climb and seems to enjoy it. She is starting to be more talkative especially when she wants food.

She would do best in a house with another cat that is playful. Her favorite past time is rough housing with her sister, Macadamia who is also available for adoption, and has tried to get other cats to play too. Fishing toys are also a favorite and she's a bit of a foodie. It's obvious that she didn't grow up being handled by humans, but it's apparent that she wants to make a connection with those around her. She is quite gentle once you do get your hands on her and is so soft! We dont know how she is with dogs but may do okay with a gentle pup who is mellow and respectful of her space.

She will need a quieter home and older kids would probably be okay. A nice safe yard to explore will be needed once she is fully comfortable and settled in her new home. She is in Wasilla. Please call 907-350-8089.
