Pistachio's Story
Meet Pistachio! 🐾
Pistachio is a sweet, shy, and curious adult cat who enjoys gentle attention and tasty treats. He may be timid at first, but with patience and understanding, he can grow confident and affectionate. Pistachio would do best in a calm, adult home where he can take his time to feel safe and loved. Once he opens up, he'll begin demanding treats, looking for petting from his favorite people, and wrestling his catnip toys like nobody's watching. Pistachio has the potential to be a wonderful companion for someone who earns his trust.

A volunteer writes: Pistachio playfully plopped his chin on my hand and stretched his little paws out like we were already in the middle of a conversation. A cheerful and cuddly fellow inclined to knead in place by way of hello, it seems like Pistachio has always been the star of the show. Except we can't say for sure because we don't really know much about his life before. Pistachio came to us from a home with many other cats and it seems like most of the time he has an eye and an ear for fitting in. There are times he purrs loudly for attention and tries to hop onto our shoulders for emphasis. He enthusiastically embraces toys and is always game for a new one. These are particularly helpful traits when it comes to navigating shelter life but none of us are one thing all the time, so there are also times that Pistachio is perhaps a little overwhelmed by all the options available and wants to take a moment to get to know his new friends better before hopping in with his hellos. We're sure that a forever home where he has space to settle in and be himself will be the perfect fit for this very lovely guy. Primary Color: Orange Tabby Weight: 9.75lbs Age: 1yrs 6mths 2wks Animal has been Neutered
