Meet our sweet little deer, Pistachio 💚<br/><br/>Pistachio has been through more heartbreak and pain than any cat ever should. She came into our care with severe tail injuries that required an amputation. On top of that, she also suffered the loss of her kittens after experiencing a miscarriage. Right now, she is grieving, healing, and trying to learn that the world can still be safe.<br/><br/>The shelter environment has been overwhelming for her. Pistachio spends most of her time hiding from people, unsure if she can trust us yet. But when she thinks nobody is watching, we catch glimpses of the kitten she still wants to be — quietly playing with toys and showing flashes of curiosity and sweetness.<br/><br/>Pistachio is looking for a very special home willing to give her the time, patience, and understanding she deserves. We truly believe another calm, friendly cat could help guide her and give her confidence. She would do best in a quiet home without dogs or children, where she can heal at her own pace and finally learn what love and safety feel like.<br/><br/>She may not be the cat who runs to greet you at the door right away. She may hide for days or even weeks.
