Piper & Prue's Story

Piper (tabby) and Prue(tortie) are bonded sisters. They had a rough beginning and have been through a lot together. They love to cuddle in a sink or on a cat tree. Because of their past, they are a little weary of people still. Both love the cat teaser and run out to play with you. Piper is braver than Prue and purrs immediately when you rub her ears or chin. When she trusts you she will roll over for belly rubs. Prue is making progress but only allows head scratches when she's eating. Prue loves all soft food and soft lickable treats. The girls need an experienced cat parent who is willing to be patient and give them the time and love they need. If you think you could be that person, please come meet them, they are sweet.

Tubby Tabby Rescue's Adoption Policy
All potential adopters are required to fill out an adoption application and be screened prior to adopting a cat from Tubby Tabby. The rescue has the right to refuse adoption any time during the process if warranted. We are a foster-based animal rescue, which means we do not operate out of a traditional shelter or kennel facility. Instead, all of our cats live in private homes with loving foster families until they are adopted. This approach allows our animals to receive personalized care in a home environment, helping them adjust better and show their true personalities. Because we are not a physical shelter, we do not have a central location where all of our animals can be visited. Each foster home has its own schedule and responsibilities, and visits must be arranged in advance to respect their time and home space.
