Pip's Story

Meet Pip!
Don't let her petite size fool you... Pip is packed with enough personality to fill an entire house! This sassy little black cat is equal parts explorer, entertainer, and professional conversationalist. If you're looking for a cat who will greet you with adorable chirps and chatter, supervise everything you're doing, and scale the tallest cat tree she can find, Pip is your girl.

Pip absolutely loves to climb and can often be found perched up high, keeping watch over her kingdom from the best seat in the house. She's curious, clever, and always interested in what her people are up to. Whether she's "talking" to you about her day or showing off her climbing skills, Pip has a way of making every day a little more fun.

While Pip loves people, she'd prefer to keep her home all to herself when it comes to other cats. She's happiest as the queen of the castle, where she doesn't have to share her favorite sunny windows, climbing spots, or human attention.

Pip also has a history of bladder inflammation and is doing wonderfully on her prescription Purina Feline UR diet, which helps keep her healthy and comfortable. Her forever family will need to continue this veterinarian-recommended food to help her stay feeling her best.

If you're looking for a cat with a huge heart, an even bigger personality, and enough charm to keep you smiling every day, Pip is ready to climb her way into your life... and probably onto the highest shelf in your house.

Visit our shelter today, or visit Adoptable Cats, Adoptable Dogs or Working Cats to view pictures and profiles of all pets in need of homes! Visit our website to see available animals or visit the adoptable animals at the Cheyenne Animal Shelter. We have three large dog adoption rooms, “cat alley” and critter space. While visiting the Cheyenne Animal Shelter, a CAS adoption counselor will help you find the pet who is the best match for your family and lifestyle. Once you find your match, a Cheyenne Animal Shelter staff person will begin the adoption process, which often takes as little as an hour. Once you have reviewed all adoption paperwork, you’ll pay the adoption fee. Then, you’re ready to take home your new furry family member.
