Pip's Story

Pip is a fun, adorable little guy with a big personality. He has a chirpy trill of a meow and likes to use his paw to get tour attention and bring your hand to him. Pip loves to greet you, whether you're coming home from a day at work or just re-entering the room. Pip is curious, goofy, and so fun to play with. He can be a bit rambunctious when playing with other cats, so if there were existing cats in his new home, thy would just need to have a similar playing style. We have found Pip and several of our other foster kitties cuddling on several occasions. We have two large senior dogs and one small adult dog that are rather indifferent to cats. Pip doesn't seem to mind them and will just go over to the cat tree if he wants to get away from them. It seems he would do fine in a house with calm and respectful dogs.

- Pip was found all alone one evening right before a very cold night. If he hadn't approached us, he would not have made it. The poor boy was lethargic, skin and bones with a GIANT worm belly, absolutely infested with fleas, and had awful ear infections. This little guy wasn't about to give up and began to thrive once he received the care he needed.

- Pip struggled with GI issues for a while, most likely due to how full of worms he was. We have found that he does best on indoor cat food, as it is usually a bit higher in fiber, and a daily probiotic.

- Special needs?
Pip had a reaction to his first FVRCP vaccine, so we have not moved forward with further vaccinations or his neuter, as we feel it would be best for his adopter to take him to their preferred vet and to follow their vaccination and neuter recommendations (antihistamines are often sent home and given the night before, then at the appointment).
Because of this, we are waiving Pip's adoption fee. What is most important is that this wonderful kitty find a loving and safe forever home where he will always be cared for. Adoption fee: $0.

Our Mission
We are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for homeless and abused cats so they can find their forever families. We often take in "misfits" - cats that are not the most social initially, but who have so much love to give once they trust you. We always take the time to get to know each cat's unique person...
