Pinto's Story

Meet Pinto, a shy but super sweet kitten once he feels confident. This handsome white kitty with little patches of black and gorgeous green eyes was trapped by a lady in Greenville after she saw Pinto hanging around her neighbor's yard. Pinto entered foster care where after he felt confident loved pets and attention and was as friendly as can be.

Pinto will need a patient adopter who will provide reassurance with pets and soft words, play and treats. We already know Pinto is a loving kitty with his time in foster care. The transition to the shelter has made him a bit shy again but that will only be temporary.

Pinto would do best in a quieter, routine home with a single adopter, a couple, or a family with older respectful kids.

We believe that kittens are happiest when they have another kitty to play with so Pinto will need to be adopted with another kitten here or already have a young playful cat at home.

For the safety of our kittens and for children, we do not adopt kittens under six months old to a home with children under the age of 6.

Pinto has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Pinto's approximate birthdate is 10/17/2025. His adoption fee is $120.

If you are interested in meeting Pinto or any of the cats at Second Chance Cats of West Michigan, please go to sccatswm.org/adopt to fill out an application, or stop in during open hours on Fridays from 11-2 or Saturdays and Sundays from 11-4.

Please note - we can only adopt to those who live within a one hour drive of Grand Rapids.

Thank you!
