Pintita's Story

Pintita is a young calico between 1 and 2 years old; a gentle, loving mama with the sweetest heart.

She is a curious, affectionate girl who loves people and greets them by rolling around at their feet, hoping for pets and gentle attention. She absolutely adores chin scratches and is happiest with calm, kind people who let her come out of her shell at her own pace. While she's very friendly, she can also be easily startled, so she'll thrive in a quieter home, and she may take some time to get used to new people.

Her favorite toy is a flapping bird toy that she'll proudly hide away after playtime, only to bring it back out when she's ready for another round. She also enjoys batting around toy mice. During her time raising kittens, she would often wait until her babies were asleep before playing because if they ran over to her toy, she'd happily let them have it.
She enjoys pâté wet food and is wonderfully cooperative with brushing and nail trims.

Because of her sweet, non-confrontational personality, she'll do best in a home without dominant cats. If another cat takes her food or toys, she simply walks away or hides rather than standing up for herself. She would be happiest as an only cat or with other gentle, easygoing feline companions.

She has a particularly close bond with her orange kitten, Topi, and they spend the most time together, so we would love for them to be adopted together.

Pintita is spayed, up to date with vaccines, FIV/FELV negative and has a negative fecal.
Her adoption fee is $160.
We offer a $25 discount for any two cats adopted together!

ADOPTION PROCESS If you're interested in adopting, please complete our Adoption Interest Form when submitting your inquiry. Once we receive your application, we'll contact you to schedule a visit to meet the cat(s) at our rescue. KITTEN ADOPTION POLICY Kittens under 10 months of age must be adopted with another kitten or young cat, or go to a home that already has a playful, feline companion. We do NOT adopt out single kittens unless there is another active cat already in the home. Cats 10 months and older may be adopted as solo pets, depending on their individual personality and needs. If you're looking to adopt just one cat and don't currently have another feline at home, we encourage you to inquire about our older kittens or adult cats who are happy as the only cat in the household. FINALIZING THE ADOPTION Once you've chosen your new family member(s), you'll complete an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. If you have any questions, please email us at info@artemisanimalrescue.com. We look forward to helping you find your perfect feline companion!
