Pinky's Story

Pinky is an adorable, 1-year old white and brown tabby with a ton of excitement for his new indoor life and has a lot of love to give.

Pinky was found outside living with several other cats in the courtyard of an apartment complex on a busy street in Bedstuy, Brooklyn. One evening, he arrived to dinner covered in scratches and hopping around on three legs, so a community member could tell he needed help. When he was trapped and brought indoors, Pinky immediately showed how happy and grateful he was to be cared for.

Once he was fully healed and feeling 100% better, Pinky's boisterous and friendly personality blossomed. Now, Pinky enjoys every day to the fullest with his foster parents and his favorite toys. With some time, patience and lots of love as Pinky fully adjusts to his new life and routine, Pinky will become his new family's best friend.

Pinky loves receiving and giving affection to his foster parents. He's always giving out hand and cheek kisses! He loves to be held and carried, and his favorite spot is curling up beside his family on the couch and taking a peaceful snooze. On occasion, Pinky has fallen asleep in his foster parents laps!

Pinky's fosters say he is playful and curious and always ready for a high-energy play session. Besides tossing around his toy mouse or chasing his favorite fluffy feather teaser wand, he loves bird watching, either from the window or a digital screen.

Pinky will thrive in a home that devotes time to playing with him, throwing toys like mice and bouncy balls, and setting up puzzle feeders for him to solve.

Because of his rambunctious nature and his past injuries, Pinky is best suited for a home without other cats, pets or children.

Pinky has been fully vetted with a clean bill of health. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, treated for fleas/parasites, and is FIV/FeLV negative.
