Pinky's Story
Pick PINKY. You will be glad you did. She is a potential purring pet partner.<br/> This almost 1 year old black sweetheart cat was first noiticed this winter by a volunteer's husband who commutes from Hicksville RR station. She was new & approachable,probably abandoned there.<br/> As the weather got frigid & the first blizzard neared, PINKY tried to climb into the wheel wells of parked cars to stay warm.<br/> His wife - volunteer Becki -visited the RR station to check out PINKY. Yes, she was friendly, quite friendly. <br/> Soon after volunteers <br/>Becki & Aggie trapped PINKY, and had her spayed with a "light" eartip. She recovered at Becki's home as her foster where she continued to show how affectionate & people- friendly she really is.<br/> PINKY moved to our Wantagh Cat Center at the end of March.<br/> She is in the "welcome" cage as you walk into the Cat Center. <br/> Purrfect Placement....as is PINKY being welcomed home by someone who will welcome her home.<br/><br/>If you are interested in learning more, please email us to adoptions@lasthopeanimalrescue.org
