Two-year-old Clawd arrived first after living outdoors and recovering from a traumatic leg injury that required an amputation. Healthy, resilient, and full of personality, Clawd adapted beautifully to life on three legs and never lets it slow him down.<br/><br/>When three-year-old Pilgrim arrived later, Clawd immediately took him under his wing. Having both survived life on the streets, the two seemed to recognize a kindred spirit in each other. Our policy is to adopt kittens in pairs. We find that kittens are much happier when they have a companion and they tend to expend their youthful energy on each other rather than on your couch!
