Pico C6256's Story

Hi! I'm Pico. I'm all black with a tiny white heart on my chest-just for you! I adore cuddles, food, conversation, and especially warm blankies. On chilly days, you'll usually find me snuggled up on my foster mom's electric throw, living my coziest life. My favorite toys are feather wands (the fishing-pole kind!) and cat tunnels, and I get along well with other cats. I'd likely do well with gentle dogs and respectful kids, too. I would love a companion kitty to play and snooze with, especially when my people are away. Take me home, give me a little time to learn the layout, and I'll happily hop into your lap, settle in, and start a long, important discussion about my favorite topics: breakfast, lunch, dinner... and treats. Pico is from a local reservation.

Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats' emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of "Single Kitten Syndrome" (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten's most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
