Piccolo's Story
Piccolo is a sweet, senior gentleman who has been given a second chance at life.

It's hard to believe, but this sweet boy spent the majority of his life living outdoors. He belonged to a colony of feral cats but despite his gentle nature would often get bullied by the group. Lucky for him, this spring some kind neighbors took notice of his gentle nature and together we brought him inside for good.

Since then, Piccolo has been on a journey of discovery: learning that people can be kind, laps can be cozy, and treats are absolutely worth climbing into your human's lap for. Piccolo loves to hang out in the same room as his people, loves to play with toys, and will do just about anything for a treat. He can be slightly shy in new situations, but after a short adjustment with lots of treats and play, he loves receiving pets and following his humans around the house.

Despite the fact that he's a senior, now that he gets to be safe indoors, Piccolo is reliving the joyful kittenhood he never got to have outdoors. He is incredibly playful and spunky, and loves to romp with toys, and play wrestle and tag with other cats. He is not aggressive at all but would do best with a fellow friendly cat who also enjoys antics like this!

Overall Piccolo is a soft soul: gentle, mild-mannered, and non-confrontational. If you've been looking for a gentle, friendly cat to join your home and befriend your middle-age cat, there is no more perfect candidate than him!

Piccolo is estimated to be about 8-10 years old, is up to date on vaccines, is FeLV negative and has a clean bill of health. Piccolo is positive for FIV, but is asymptomatic. No special care is needed, he just needs the same routine annual vet visits that all cats should receive. FIV is passed from cat-to-cat through deep bite wounds - but as it so happens, Piccolo is almost entirely toothless! He only has a single tooth left, which is why he has an adorable blep in almost every picture! He can safely cohabitate with other FIV- cats. (FIV is not transmissible to dogs or people.)

-----
Interested in meeting Piccolo? Apply here: https://forms.gle/fBXbY8ahsAqu48yd7
