Photon's Story

Photon is ready to bring lots of light into your life! ? He's a one-year-old, 9.5-pound Domestic Shorthair cat with lots of confidence and a wonderfully friendly personality. Ever since he arrived we haven't been able to stop admiring his hilariously chubby cheeks. Thankfully, he loves having them squished! Photon was originally a barn cat who was brought to the vet to be neutered, but while at the vet, he tested positive for FeLV. He was brought to our shelter so we could help him find a home best suited to his needs!

Since Photon is FeLV positive, he's looking for a home where he can be the only cat or live with other FeLV positive cats. Since his immune system is compromised, he needs to stay an indoor only boy and have a family committed to his annual vet appointments to make sure he's staying healthy.

Photon is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. You can visit him at the shelter Tuesdays through Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM or Sundays from 12:00 to 5:00 PM.
