Meet Phoenix! <br/><br/>Phoenix is a beautiful young mama who has already overcome so much.<br/>Estimated to be around 2 years old, she was found abandoned and pregnant at a welding warehouse. Thankfully, she was rescued just in time to receive the care and nourishment she needed to safely raise her six healthy kittens. She devoted herself to being an incredible mom, and now that her babies are ready for their own forever homes, it's finally Phoenix's turn to be loved, cherished, and spoiled.<br/><br/>Since arriving in foster care, Phoenix has completely blossomed. She has a calm, gentle spirit and an incredibly sweet, affectionate personality that makes her a wonderful companion. She loves spending time with her people, happily soaking up pets and attention, and she never turns down a tasty treat.<br/><br/>One of the most rewarding things has been watching Phoenix discover how to simply be a cat. Now that she no longer has to worry about surviving outdoors or caring for kittens, she's learned how much fun playtime can be! She especially loves chasing wand toys and batting around her favorite catnip rainbow toy, and seeing her playful side emerge has been a joy.<br/><br/>Phoenix is currently fostered with other adult cats. While she is respectful and gets along well with them, she doesn't seek them out for play or companionship. She would do well in a home with another easygoing cat or as the only pet, where she can soak up all the love, attention, cuddles, and playtime for herself.<br/><br/>When the day winds down, Phoenix's favorite place is right beside you on the couch. She's the perfect cuddle buddy and is happiest simply being close to the people she loves.
