Phoebe & Feather's Story

**Note: PetFinder sometimes has issues with delivering inquiries. If you do not hear from us within a couple days, please email us directly at stina.larson@gmail.com or email directly regardless.**

Phoebe and Feather may not be biological sisters, but they are absolutely sisters at heart and are looking for a forever home together. These beautiful young girls were rescued from an overcrowded site and brought into foster care, where they have been safe, loved, and gently nurtured while they learned that the world can be kind and humans are not so bad.

At about 1 year old, Phoebe is the quieter and more sensitive of the pair. She is a petite, delicate girl with unique tabby coloring and striking blue eyes. Phoebe has been growing braver every week in foster care, but loud noises can still startle her, and she appreciates having a cozy safe space nearby. She is a very sweet girl who will blossom with patience, gentle encouragement, and a calm home environment.

Feather, also around 1 year old, is the more social sister and helps Phoebe feel secure. She often lounges on a table in the foster home, happily waiting for pets, and she actively seeks out her foster human for attention. Feather loves lap time and will often curl up near her person in bed. Feather and Phoebe are playful young kitties and the two girls enjoy playing kitty games together.

Together, they balance each other beautifully — Feather’s confidence helps Phoebe continue to come out of her shell, and Phoebe provides Feather with a beloved playmate and companion.

Both girls have been fostered with dogs and should do well with a mellow, cat-friendly pup. They would also be fine with older, respectful children who understand the importance of being gentle and giving them space when needed.

These sweet girls are ready for a patient, loving home where they can continue to grow in confidence — together. Could Phoebe & Feather be the perfect pair for your home?

The adoption fee for Feather and Phoebe is $230.

Phoebe and Feather are around 1 year old. They have been spayed and vaccinated. They are litter box trained.

We recommend adopting two kittens if you have no other pets (or even if you do), because you will get twice the love with less work and they will develop fewer behavioral issues, while costs remain relatively similar.

We are located in the Columbia Gorge area in OR/WA (this is where the kittens are fostered), but we are able to transport to those locations where we advertise (i.e. Seattle and Portland area). There isn't an additional fee for transport, but any additional donation to help support what our little group does is appreciated.

When responding to this ad, please provide a phone number where you can be reached. Having an alternate means to contact people is helpful, since our email can end up in SPAM. Please also provide some information on your home. For example: Do you have small children? How many? Is your home life quiet or busy? Do you live in a rural or urban area? Do you have any other pets? What else should we know?

All of the kittens at Pawsitivity are fostered in homes where they are cared for and socialized. We don't keep kittens in cages (except maybe at bedtime). Our foster parents are able to learn each of their personalities this way and determine the best home for them. We also make sure all kittens are healthy before placing them in their forever home.

For additional information on our group and what we do, please check out our website: www.pawsitivity.info

Pawsitivity's Adoption Policy
Adopter understands that kittens/cats available for adoption have been rescued from a variety of situations, including neglect/abuse, as such could be subject to health or behavioral problems not known at this time. Adopter agrees and accepts the kitten/cat with this understanding. The kittens/cats are healthy and up to date on all vaccines and medical treatments which were necessary for the health of the kitten/cat. Rescuer/foster makes no further guarantees or warranties of any kind for health of the kitten/cat and that the adopter assumes all risks at/from the time of initial possession and following. Adopter understands full responsibility for the health and welfare of the adopted kitten/cat for the duration of the natural life. The responsibility includes all costs for veterinary and health needs, housing and shelter, food and any other expenses related to care and welfare. Adopter agrees to contact a veterinarian to follow up vaccines, if needed. Adopter understands that declawing cats is a cruel procedure and will not do that to the adopted kitten/cat. Adopter agrees to pay the adoption fee/donation. We do not have an adoption application, but we do want to speak to the potential adopter and ask a few questions in order to make sure we find the right fit for our cats/kittens.
