Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue<br/>Meow meet Phoebe! She is an adorable dilute tortoiseshell girl with a gentle, quiet sweetness that makes her incredibly special. She may seem a little shy when you first meet her, but give her some time to feel comfortable and you’ll discover a true little love bug who enjoys pets, being held, and simply being close to her people. Phoebe has a bit of an old-soul quality about her. She’s calm, gentle, and perfectly content to take things at her own pace. And if you happen to have her favorite Sheba wet kitten food available, well...you may become her new best friend! We don’t know what happened during Phoebe’s short life, but she was found as part of a cat colony and needed help. Both of her back legs had been fractured at some point and had fused together incorrectly. When we first met her, we weren’t sure just how much that might limit her. Phoebe, however, had other plans! She has adapted remarkably well and has surprised us with what she can do. She can manage stairs, jump onto beds, and get around far better than expected. She has shown us that sometimes you simply have to give a little girl the opportunity to show you what she is capable of. Phoebe may move a little differently, but she certainly doesn’t let it define her. She’s a gentle little survivor with a sweet spirit, a purr-worthy personality, and an inspiring determination to enjoy life. All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted.<br/><br/>Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many that are not posted yet.<br/><br/>Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.<br/><br/>No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.<br/><br/>We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year.
