Phoebe's Story

Phoebe is an 8 month spayed female black domestic short hair. Because of the ongoing construction at the shelter Phoebe spent time in a foster home, with her sister Jasmine, after being surrendered. Her foster mom reports that she is very people oriented and lovey. She wants to be petted all the time, and really leans into it. She got along very well with the other adult cats in her foster home. Unlike her sister, she is not bothered by much in her environment. She does not mind being picked up, and is an all around easy going cat. Her lack of a tail has not caused any difficulties for her. She jumps well and has normal bowel & urinary function. She is not particularly bonded to her sister and wouldn’t mind going her own way. Phoebe would do well in any caring household. She does like the company of other cats, and might get along with an easy going, calm dog. Because she is gregarious she would rather not be an only animal.
