Phillip's Story
Phillip was found outside on a frigid February day, all alone and crying under someone's deck! Poor little guy was hardly hanging on; he was starving, sick, and desperate for help. Thankfully, a kind stranger helped him find his way to us. After a few vet visits, it was determined he was struggling with something called feline infectious peritonitis. We began treatment and he improved steadily. He also had an issue with his right eye when he arrived. We had him evaluated at Animal Eye Specialty Center. The vet told us his eye likely ruptured when he was very young and caused a permanent scar. He has no vision in his right eye. The vet did not think this would cause issues in the future. Annual vet visits will be recommended so his eye can be monitored; no other action was recommended by the vet that saw him.

Now, onto the good stuff! Phillip is a strikingly handsome cat. His fur is silver with blue undertones. He is friendly and charismatic. Phillip can make any person fall in love with his personality. He is incredibly sweet, playful, and has a great sense of humor. He adores people, loves being held and cuddled and makes the cutest chirping noises as he bounces across the floor chasing his toys! He's sure to make an incredible friend to whoever is lucky enough to adopt him. Before we had him evaluated by a veterinary ophthalmologist, we didn't realize he was blind in his right eye. He navigates like a normal cat as far as we can tell. He still loves to play, greets people with enthusiasm, and handles stress very well. He's been excellent at using his litter box.

Phillip is approximately 6 months old, neutered, microchipped, and dewormed. All he needs now is a loving home to spoil him the way he deserves!

Kindred Spirits Rescue is a foster based rescue, we do not have a central facility. Phillip is being fostered in Little Falls, MN. If you're interested in learning more about Phillip, please contact us or fill out an adoption application here: https://forms.gle/PsLSFcZcCMs723hH9
