Hi, I'm Phil!<br/><br/>Let me tell you my glow-up story. Back in January, I was found wandering around a rural county, all on my own — turns out I'd been born sometime around June 2023, so I'd been figuring out life solo for a while. When I first landed at the shelter, I'll admit it: I was terrified. People were a big scary mystery to me, so I tucked myself into the far back corner of my cage and tried to disappear.<br/><br/>But everything changed in June 2026, when I busted out of the shelter and landed in a foster home. And that's when the real me came out — turns out I am the biggest lover you will ever meet. I love to be petted, curl up next to my foster mom and rubbing against my foster's legs to say hello. Fair warning: if you try to walk away before I've had my fill of pets, I will reach out and grab your leg with my paw to remind you I'm not done with you yet. A cat's gotta have priorities.<br/><br/>When I'm not getting attention, you'll find me batting around my ball track toy or hanging out in my tunnel (it's basically my personal fort). And no matter what's happening, I always know when it's wet food time — it's easily my favorite part of the day.<br/><br/>I'm looking for a quiet, adult-only home where I can keep building my confidence at my own pace. If there are other cats, just know I really like calm, confident ones! I've already come so far from that scared cat in the back corner — I just need someone patient enough to help me keep going. The Rescue Pack's Adoption Policy
If interested in one of our animals, please fill out an application on our website. The application will then be reviewed by our applications team and passed on to the foster of the animal that was applied for. The foster will then review the application and, if deemed a good fit, will initiate a phone call with the applicant. If, after the phone call, both applicant and foster feel it is a good fit, a meeting with the animal will be scheduled. Once the meeting happens, and the approval from both foster and applicant are given to move forward - our adoptions team will send an electronic payment link to the adopter. Once payment has been received, our adoption contract will be sent along with vet records. The foster and the adopter will agree on an official adoption date - and the animal will now live happily ever after! If an applied for animal is no longer available, our team will assist in trying to find another good fit! If an application is not a good fit, the applicant will also be notified.
