Petunia's Story

Hi, I’m Petunia. My foster family calls me Tune or Tuni, and I answer to both, especially if there are treats involved.

I started life in a cat colony, and it wasn’t easy. When I had my babies, I was lucky enough to be brought into a home to raise them, and that’s when I discovered what I’d been missing: warm blankets, gentle hands, and people who care. I became a house cat, and it’s the best thing that ever happened to me.

I’ve done a good job raising my kids, if I do say so myself. Now they’re grown, and I’m looking for a home where I can finally relax and be loved. I dream of unlimited snuggles, catnip by the bag, and someone who’ll sing along with me when I belt out the songs of my people.

A few things about me: I’ve lived with dogs, cats, and kids older than 5. I’d prefer a home without dogs, and I can learn to share my space with other cats if we take it slow. Kids are my favorite, so a family with children is a must. I’m a bit shy around adult men, who tend to be big, loud, and overwhelming for a girl like me, so I’d do best in a home without them.

I’ve worked hard my whole life, and I’m ready for a family to call my own. Apply for me here or visit www.lonestarpawz.com. I can’t wait to meet you. Transport available nationwide!
