Peter's Story

Meet Peter

Peter's story began with a difficult start. He and his siblings were found living with their mama behind a convenience store, where conditions were unsafe and unsanitary. Their mama was severely underweight and doing everything she could to care for her babies. We brought the entire family into foster care, giving them a safe, loving place to grow before the kittens were even able to walk.

Peter is a sweet, gentle little guy with a quiet personality. When he first encounters something new, he likes to sit back and observe before jumping in. Once he realizes he's safe, his playful and affectionate side shines. He loves to join in the fun with his siblings, enjoys playing, and absolutely melts into your arms when you pick him up. He's a champion purrer and loves snuggling with the people he trusts.

Peter has also spent time around a dog and has done well. Like most new experiences, he may hide at first, but with patience and reassurance, he gradually warms up and settles in comfortably.

Peter has received topical flea prevention and deworming. Before going to his new home, he will receive his FVRCP vaccine and be microchipped. He has not yet been neutered, as we wanted to wait until he was a little older. If Peter is adopted before he's old enough for the procedure, we will contribute $100 toward the cost of his neuter.

Peter would thrive with a family that understands his gentle nature and gives him a little time to adjust. Once he feels safe, you'll be rewarded with endless purrs, cuddles, and a loyal little companion who is sure to steal your heart.
