What is Community Cats of Benzie County’s adoption process?

We ask for a minimum donation of $75.00 to adopt a kitten.  This helps to defray the cost of medical care for that kitten and "pays it forward" so that we can continue to provide quality health care for all kittens (and cats) in our care.    Please fill out an application if you are interested in adopting a kitten.   Please complete the Adoption Application at http://benziecats.org/adoption-application/. Thank you! All of our kittens and cats are in foster homes so that we can see personalities unfold and be able to know habits, likes and dislikes. That way we can match human to feline to try to make the best match for both.

What is Peter’s adoption fee?

Is Peter good with kids?

Peter is good with kids under the age of 5 and kids over the age of 5.

Is Peter good with other animals?

Peter is good with other cats. It is not known if Peter is good with dogs.

When can I meet Peter?

As soon as the adoption organization has a chance to review your information, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.

When can I adopt Peter?

Time to adopt varies, but typically adoption organizations require an official application prior to adoption. If you’re a match, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.
